Big network news break into streaming

ABC news is expanding its live streaming news  service. An AP report says the network said it will hire some about 50 new journalists, with the goal to make the network stream around the clock. ABC News President James Goldston, said  “You will see a transformation that will be like the birth of cable.”

Currently, ABC News streaming service shows live events and offers clips of broadcast stories. Kaizar Campwala the VP of Business Operations and Insights said at the tv of tomorrow conference in December the service incubator ...

CBS and NBC, as well as new services like Cheddar and Newsy. With smart TVs, streaming services can effectively be television networks, along with being available on desktops and devices.

CNN has built a strong streaming service and so has Fox with Fox Nation. Which the conservative news channel is considering creating a live version of.

A Forbes report from December says Fox nation has  produced 700 hours of original content, often with FNC talent, in its first year. John Finley heads Fox nation he says its a contrast to fox news

 It features new Fox stars like Tomi Lahren and candid and personal moments long time fox stars like Chris Wallace Unlike the others Fox Nation is a subscription service costing 69 dollars a year.
