I did not seek something sacred, per se. I sought joy. I sought happiness. Where that was found each day was, quite likely, in different locations. No doubt sometimes it was found in places of worship, but it was also found at the kitchen table eating a meal with family, playing a game of Scrabble with my wife, or simply reading a piece of long form writing whilst enjoying a cup of coffee.
